FarmCam HD is a robust and wireless camera system that gives you an overview and control over your farm. 

You can keep an eye on your animals whenever you want and wherever you want through your mobile phone. This will give you the confidence that your animals are doing well even when you are not on the spot. The ability to watch stock from a distance means, you can act faster if something happens. For example, in calving season you will be able to save calves and cows in time if difficult deliveries occur. FarmCam HD also enables you to monitor unauthorised activity on the property, such as at the diesel tank.

Connect up to four cameras, view and zoom on your screen or watch all four cameras at the same time to get an instant overview of several areas. The IR LEDs provide night vision, allowing you to see in black and white in the dark. If you have a separate night light, you can turn off the night vision. 

The camera features motion-detection, records both video and sound, and sends notifications and alarms directly to your smartphone, tablet or PC if it detects movement outside your working hours. FarmCam HD includes a IP66 rated camera with rugged design, a receiver with a 1 TB hard drive and all the necessary accessories to get started.

Planning your FarmCam HD installation

Optimal signal quality is obtained when there are no obstacles between the antennas. Avoid placing antennas at different heights and/or placing them close to metal objects. It is important that both outdoor antennas are placed on the outside of the buildings. The 2.4 GHz frequency signals are sent out as radio waves in the air. The waves can penetrate most objects or bounce around them. However, the signals lose strength at every obstacle (trees, windows, walls etc.) they need to penetrate. If penetrating metal or concrete, the signal strength will be substantially reduced.

How it works

1. The signal is transmitted through the cable (9-18 m) to the outdoor antenna.
2. The signal is sent wirelessly to the office/home.
3. The receiver receives the signal through, its outdoor antenna connected with a (9-18 m) cable.
4. By connecting the receiver to your internet router you can see your animals/barn/buildings/farm wherever you go, using any smartphone, tablet or computer connected to the internet.
5. By connecting the receiver to your TV you can see the camera picture there as well.
