FarmCam Flex 5MP Starter kit

Say goodbye to complicated setups and technical challenges! Engineered with simplicity in mind, installing the FarmCam Flex system is as straightforward as can be. You do not need any special tools or skills, and it needs minimal configuration. All that is required is a screwdriver, drill, hammer, and a ladder. The FarmCam Flex starter kit also includes four 10-meter combined network and power cables, which allows you to place the camera(s) and antennas in optimal locations. 

No need for internet connection in your barn or farm building, FarmCam Flex extends your household internet connection to wherever you need it. The system includes two antennas (Flex Bridge 300), one mounted on your house and one on the building you want to monitor. This creates a wireless internet bridge, without the need for long and buried cabling. The antennas have a transmission range of up to 1500 m with free line of sight. 

The Flex Hub is a unique network switch with integrated power supply that provides the connected camera with both power and internet connection in one cable. The Flex Starter kit supports up to three cameras, but you can easily extend the system by adding another Flex Hub. Simply connect the two Flex Hubs with an ethernet cable and now you have a system that supports up to seven cameras. 

The system is tailored to the stringent requirements of a farm environment, including weatherproofing all parts except for the connection to the home router. The Flex Hub power supply is integrated in the weatherproof casing, making the whole installation weatherproof. 

The camera has an IR light with an impressive 30 m range, enabling you to monitor your animal’s wellbeing or property in low-light conditions. This means you can check in on your animals even during nighttime, without leaving the comfort of your bed.  

 The camera has a 5MP (2560x1920) resolution lens, with a wide field of view (80° horizontal, 42° vertical) letting you view a high-quality video stream directly in your smartphone, tablet, or computer. The camera records* 5-8 seconds before an event occurs and it has constant AI recognition which reduces false alarms. Each camera has 64GB local storage and it is also possible to share individual cameras with your co-workers or friends.

The FarmCam Flex system is more than just cameras, it will serve as a base for other connected devices and accessories. The first planned addition to the Flex product line is a Wi-Fi hotspot, to be released in Q1 2024. The hotspot enables you to connect Wi-Fi units such as the FarmCam 360S or your smartphone.
